Peter Pan remembers

Remembrance Day

The children at Peter Pan learned about Remembrance Day today.  We talked about the significance of poppies and why we wear them.

One of our Governors  came into school and told us all about his fathers experiences of the war.  He brought along some historic items like his uniform, medals and maps.

The children all made poppies and we held a special assembly to find out why we wear poppies.
