Site Agent  20 hours per week, all year round 

We are looking to a recruit a site agent from April 2020 to work across the Federation of Peter Pan and Cherry Trees Nursery Schools.  The role ideally will suit someone looking for part time hours in the morning who can be responsible for unlocking the school buildings, carrying out health and safety checks and undertaking DIY jobs.

Some light cleaning duties would also be required.  The successful candidate will have the ability to organise and prioritise their workload and be flexible in their approach to the job. Experience of a trade would be an advantage. 

Salary £9.74 to £13.64 per hour  depending on experience and skills

Administrative Assistant   35 hrs per week  Term time only

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work across the Bedford Nursery Schools Federation. The position will be based at Peter Pan Nursery School in the first instance, however all employees are required to work across the Federation if required.

As the ‘face of the school’ the ideal candidate must display excellent interpersonal skills and be able to engage with a wide range of people including parents, children, staff and external professionals in an appropriate manner.

Alongside reception duties you will be required to provide admin support to staff and receive payments for additional services.

A good standard of written and spoken English and Mathematics are essential (GCSE grades 4-9 or equivalent). Previous experience with all IT packages including word, excel, publisher and powerpoint is also required.

Knowledge of Integris G2 and previous experience of a school office are desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

The school operates a Safer Recruitment policy and the successful candidates will be subject to DBS clearance.
