Senior Teachers x 2.   MPS 1-6 + TLR2

Bedford Nursery Schools Federation are looking to recruit 2 qualified teachers for September 2020. Both positions are 0.9% of the week. 

The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of how young children learn and be passionate about creating an environment that enables all children to make outstanding progress.  Early Years experience is desirable for this role. Candidates need to embrace our philosophy that well-being of staff and children is at the heart of everything we do.

Job shares will be considered for these roles for suitable candidates.

Administrative Assistant   35 hrs per week  Term time only

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work across the Bedford Nursery Schools Federation. The position will be based at Peter Pan Nursery School in the first instance, however all employees are required to work across the Federation if required.

As the ‘face of the school’ the ideal candidate must display excellent interpersonal skills and be able to engage with a wide range of people including parents, children, staff and external professionals in an appropriate manner.

Alongside reception duties you will be required to provide admin support to staff and receive payments for additional services.

A good standard of written and spoken English and Mathematics are essential (GCSE grades 4-9 or equivalent). Previous experience with all IT packages including word, excel, publisher and powerpoint is also required.

Knowledge of Integris G2 and previous experience of a school office are desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

The school operates a Safer Recruitment policy and the successful candidates will be subject to DBS clearance.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Salary :  NJC Level 2  £15.411 - £16.304
